2010 Campaigns
Dennis Prager maintains we are "in a battle for the American system" and must focus on the Republican candidates because "they are the only ones who can beat the leftists." (01/29/2010 first hour)
The "Massachusetts Miracle" proved beyond a doubt that conservatives can refuse to allow themselves to be splintered into impotent third parties and can rally and take over the Republican party by focusing on our most critical core values ~ We must never lose sight of that goal in every campaign in every corner of every State in the Union!
We can reclaim the House and the Senate (as well as the rest of our government) by keeping our sights on electing the most conservative VIABLE candidate to every office in the 2010 midterms ~ from Senators and Representatives all the way through Governors, State Legislators, City Councils and School Boards. Just as Conservatives from every party and from every part of the country came together to support Scott Brown in his race to win the vacant Massachusetts Senate seat, we MUST REMEMBER the lessons of 1992 ~ Bill Clinton was elected with only 43% of the popular vote because 18.9% of Conservative voters voted for Ross Perot. We must commit to supporting the MOST CONSERVATIVE candidate in each election who actually has a REAL chance to win ~ NOT just the PERFECT conservative candidate. (REMEMBER: PERFECTION DOES NOT EXIST IN THIS WORLD.) Whenever someone says "I must vote my conscience," please remind them that conscience means "with knowledge," so refusing to vote for the most conservative candidate available who actually has a REAL chance to win ~ because that candidate is not PERFECT ~ means casting a vote WITH KNOWLEDGE that will help elect the WORST, LEAST CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE. Our BEST choice is to take over the Republican Party ~ We CAN do it if each and every one of us gets involved in our precincts and works to nominate and elect Conservative candidates at every level of government!
Please take a few minutes to read Ronald Reagan's address to CPAC in 1977 on choosing conservative candidates AFTER he turned down offers of support if he would have run as a third-party candidate in 1976 when he lost the nomination as the Republican presidential candidate...
Our first job is to get this message across to those who share most of our principles. If we allow ourselves to be portrayed as ideological shock troops without correcting this error we are doing ourselves and our cause a disservice. Wherever and whenever we can, we should gently but firmly correct our political and media friends who have been perpetuating the myth of conservatism as a narrow ideology. Whatever the word may have meant in the past, today conservatism means principles evolving from experience and a belief in change when necessary, but not just for the sake of change.

Once we have established this, the next question is: What will be the political vehicle by which the majority can assert its rights?

I have to say I cannot agree with some of my friends—perhaps including some of you here tonight—who have answered that question by saying this nation needs a new political party.

I respect that view and I know that those who have reached it have done so after long hours of study. But I believe that political success of the principles we believe in can best be achieved in the Republican Party. I believe the Republican Party can hold and should provide the political mechanism through which the goals of the majority of Americans can be achieved. For one thing, the biggest single grouping of conservatives is to be found in that party. It makes more sense to build on that grouping than to break it up and start over.

Rather than a third party, we can have a new first party made up of people who share our principles. I have said before that if a formal change in name proves desirable, then so be it. But tonight, for purpose of discussion, I’m going to refer to it simply as the New Republican Party.

2010 ELECTIONS General Election ~ Tuesday 2 November
If we are honest we would all have to admit we have turned a blind eye for too many years, letting the left move forward with their agenda, getting our country to the desperate state we currently find it. Let us now remember these words from Amazing Grace: I once was lost but now am found...Was blind, but now I see and focus with all our strength on choosing one or two candidates to work for ~
Don't procrastinate...time is short...

Colorado State Legislature Current Members
It is IMPERATIVE for the Conservatives to take control of the state legislature in 2010. Besides the need to put the brakes on the spend-and-tax agenda of the Democrats, this is the election that occurs only once each decade in which the redistricting of state and federal legislative districts is at stake.

How Republicans Can Blow the Coming Election
by Phyllis Schlafly
Pundits are predicting that Republicans could pick up 40 to 100 seats in the U.S. House this November. But Democrats are about to unveil their secret weapon to keep Nancy Pelosi in her catbird seat.
What could be the magic bullet with the potential to discredit the Republican Party as a vehicle for Americans opposed to Barack Obama's radical changes? The answer is Mexican trucks, a foolish idea left over from the George W. Bush era, and some Republicans are on the verge of drinking the Kool-Aid.
This month, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, the former Republican congressman from Peoria, Ill., told a Senate subcommittee that he would soon announce a plan to allow Mexican trucks to drive their loads on U.S. roads. He said the timing of this decision is "closer than soon." more TOP

"Obama's Deceptive Budget Will Lead to Disaster" by Ronald Kessler

The Founders stood for the expansion of liberty and the Progressives for the expansion of government.

...will NOT allow our Constitution to be trampled by out-of-control legislators. They think they can ignore us and destroy us, but TeaPartiers, 9-12ers and a multitude of other Grass Roots organizations are energized and refocused.

Dennis Prager maintains we are "in a battle for the American system" and must focus on the Republican candidates because "they are the only ones who can beat the leftists." (01/29/2010 first hour)

The Elections of 2009 and 2010 proved beyond a doubt that conservatives can refuse to allow themselves to be splintered into impotent third parties and can rally and take over the Republican party by focusing on our most critical core values ~ We must never lose sight of that goal in every campaign in every corner of every State in the Union!
