2010 Elections ~ Colorado Results
...And Looking Forward to 2012

Why I Now Vote Party, Not Individual
Dennis Prager
There is an American tradition of voting not for the party, but "for the man." Unlike Europeans, who are more ideologically driven, Americans have prided themselves in assessing individuals of both parties, and then voting for the more personally impressive candidate...This is no longer the case. For better or for worse, the notion of voting for the candidate rather than the party is now mostly naive idealism. The Democratic Party is now fully left-wing, and is simply the American version of any European Social Democrat party. It is the party of ever-expanding government. (The Republican Party, in contrast, is -- at long last -- the party of small government.)

Remember: There is NO SUCH THING as a MODERATE Democrat ~ They proved with ObamaCare that they WILL fall in line when they're at the wire...They only vote against the leftist agenda when they are GIVEN PERMISSION to do so by their leadership!!

Ronald Reagan - A Time for Choosing
At this critical time in our country's history, we must make this video go viral...We must remember Reagan's pertinent and prescient words as we support our Tip of the Spear Conservatives over the next two years and as we gear up to send reinforcements in 2012...copy and send this link ~
http://coloradopragerfans.com/index.htm#choosing

to everyone you know, PLEASE. It is vital for everyone to see
...So get a cup of coffee and take the time ~ It's worth every second of the 28 minutes. At the end of this speech, substitute radical Islam for communism and even that part is as relevant today as it was in 1964!
A Time for Choosing, also known as "The Speech," was presented on a number of speaking occasions during the 1964 U.S. presidential election campaign by Ronald Reagan on behalf of Republican candidate Barry Goldwater.

Dennis Prager maintains we are "in a battle for the American system" and must focus on the Republican candidates because "they are the only ones who can beat the leftists." (01/29/2010 first hour)
The 2009 and 2010 elections proved beyond a doubt that conservatives can refuse to allow themselves to be splintered into impotent third parties and can rally and take over the Republican party by focusing on our most critical core values ~ We must never lose sight of that goal in every campaign in every corner of every State in the Union!
We can reclaim the House and the Senate (as well as the rest of our government) by keeping our sights on electing the most conservative VIABLE candidate to every office in the 2012 elections ~ from Senators and Representatives all the way through Governors, State Legislators, City Councils and School Boards. We must commit to supporting the MOST CONSERVATIVE candidate in each election who actually has a REAL chance to win ~ NOT just the PERFECT conservative candidate. (REMEMBER: PERFECTION DOES NOT EXIST IN THIS WORLD.) Whenever someone says "I must vote my conscience," please remind them that conscience means "with knowledge," so refusing to vote for the most conservative candidate available who actually has a REAL chance to win ~ because that candidate is not PERFECT ~ means casting a vote WITH KNOWLEDGE that will help elect the WORST, LEAST CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE.

2010 ELECTIONS General Election ~ Tuesday November 2, 2010
If we are honest we would all have to admit we have turned a blind eye for too many years, letting the left move forward with their agenda, getting our country to the desperate state we currently find it. Let us now focus with all our strength on encouraging our Tip of the Spear Conservative legislators to hold down the fort until we can send reinforcements in 2012 ~
Don't procrastinate...time is short...

Colorado Judges

Clear the Bench Colorado

Unfortunately ALL of these dangerously activist judges were retained ~ We must do a better job of educating Coloradans.
In 2010, FOUR THREE of the current Colorado Supreme Court justices NEED YOUR APPROVAL to be retained on the bench.
DON'T GIVE IT TO THEM! Ditch the Mullarkey Majority -
Vote "NO" on ALL the justices up for approval/retention this year!
Justices Michael Bender, Alex Martinez, Nancy Rice and Chief Justice Mary Mullarkey

DID YOU KNOW that you have the right to vote "NO" on these unjust justices?
It's true – even Supreme Court justices in Colorado ARE accountable to the people. In 2010, FOUR (er, THREE now - since Chief Justice Mullarkey quit rather than face the voters in the November elections) of the current Colorado Supreme Court justices NEED YOUR APPROVAL to be retained on the bench.

WANTED Off the Supreme Court Bench, for Aiding and Abetting...

Summery of Conservative Victories 2010
Thank You to SmallBizGOP.com!

Republicans have taken control of the Colorado House of Representatives 33 seats to 32.
Some notable Republican pick-ups:
Don Beezley in Broomfield HD33 over Dianne Primavera
Kathleen Conti Littleton HD38 over Joe Rice
Robert Ramirez in Arvada HD29 over Debbie Benefield by 221 votes
Mark Barker in Colorado Springs HD17 over Dennis Apuan
Libby Szabo in Arvada HD 27 over Sara Gagliardi,
Keith Swerdfeger in Pueblo HD47 over Carole Partin

In the State Senate, Republicans fell short of claiming a majority, but picked up SD6 in Durango-area. Republican Ellen Roberts won the seat from Democrat Bruce Whitehead. The Democrats hold a 20-15 majority.

Some really close races:
Democrat John Morse held Colorado Springs SD11 over Republican Owen Hill by 252 votes.
Democrat Judy Solano in Brighton HD31 beat Republican Tom Janich by 366 votes.
Democrat John Soper in Thornton HD34 beat Republican Brian Vande Krol by 292 votes.
Democrat Jeanne Nicholson in mountain counties SD16 beat Republican Tim Leonard by 518 votes.
Democrat Michael Bennet was elected to his appointed US Senate seat and John Hickenlooper and Joseph Garcia won the Governor/Lt. Governor's seats.

Republican John Suthers won re-election as Attorney General.

Significant Republican pick-ups include Walker Stapleton for Treasurer and Scott Gessler for Secretary of State.

Regrettably, all of the Colorado Supreme Court Justices have been retained, in spite of Matt Arnold's best efforts to Clear the Bench.

Amendment 63, which would have protected Coloradoans rights to pay for private health care in anticipation of Obamacare creating a single-payer, nationalized system, was defeated despite of Jon Caldera's outstanding leadership.

On the national level, Republicans took control of the House of Representatives 239 to 185 with 11 races not yet called. Bye, Nancy!

Democrats still hold the US Senate 51 with a 51 seat majority.

Of 37 gubernatorial races, Republican governors won 23 and now hold the majority of state's chief exec positions. This is very significant as the governors determine the majority makeup of legislative district reapportionment committees.

Our thanks to all the Republican candidates who ran. Danny Stroud, Kaarl Hoopes, Christine Mastin, Dr. Mike Fallon, Ryan Frazier, Joshua Scharf, Pauline Olvera, Karen Cullen, Edgar Johansson, Brad Wagnon, Derec Shuler and John Odom are just some of the standout leaders who ran good campaigns, worked hard, and carried the Republican banner of personal responsibility, individual freedom, and less government intervention.

Thank you to all of you for making our republican form of government the best in the world!

How Republicans Can Blow the Coming Election
by Phyllis Schlafly
Pundits are predicting that Republicans could pick up 40 to 100 seats in the U.S. House this November. But Democrats are about to unveil their secret weapon to keep Nancy Pelosi in her catbird seat.
What could be the magic bullet with the potential to discredit the Republican Party as a vehicle for Americans opposed to Barack Obama's radical changes? The answer is Mexican trucks, a foolish idea left over from the George W. Bush era, and some Republicans are on the verge of drinking the Kool-Aid.
This month, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, the former Republican congressman from Peoria, Ill., told a Senate subcommittee that he would soon announce a plan to allow Mexican trucks to drive their loads on U.S. roads. He said the timing of this decision is "closer than soon." more TOP
